The Backpackers Club in Scotland and Ireland

The Backpackers Club arranged a one week backpacking trip to the Scottish Highlands each summer from 1976 through to 2011 which has enabled us to enjoy the incredible beauty and serenity to be found in these wilderness areas.
2011 saw the last formally arranged club week. We leave this site as inspiration for you to arrange your own trips.
